What Is The Game About?
The game premise is really very simple. You play as a character who believes there is a man posing harm to women and children, and you plan to put a stop to that by breaking into his house and killing him. It’s that simple!
Gameplay
Ikapali is a mixture of point and click with some first person action. The game is short but very unsettling. You must find keys to unlock the doors and then figure out how to get the shotgun. The narrative that each action you take creates serves to make the game quite uncomfortable to playthrough, even if you are a seasoned horror game veteran.
Graphics
The graphics are like a mixture of old school zx-spectrum with some early playstation 1 visuals. This mashup actually adds to and creates the uncomfortable atmosphere that I believe the game is trying to create.
Score
Although short and mostly narrative driven, i enjoyed the experience the game tries to give. So, I give it an 8 out of 10.
